Roasted Maple-Ginger Carrots

Ingredients
- 3 -4 carrots
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- fresh pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Put the butter in a small roasting pan and melt in the preheating oven.
- Wash carrots. Halve them (lengthwise and widthwise) and quarter.
- Remove pan with butter from the oven. Add carrots and all other ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Cook for about 40 minutes.
