Rings of Fire-Sweet and Spicy Onion Rings

3 Ingregient "Rings of Fire"--Onion rings, Tapatio Hot Sauce (or your choice, I like Tapatio the best), and AP Flour. What a ZIP to a burger, when put on as a topping with lettuce and fresh tomato and some Monteray Jack cheese. YUMMY and LOVE the Rings of Fire. Good as a side too, with a burger, with Ranch Dressing Dip or Salsa. I prefer using a sweet onion with the hot zesty flavor to mellow together. Sweet and Spicy and GOOOOOOOOOOOD! Show more

Directions

  1. Mix Tapatio hot sauce with the separated sweet onion rings, in a zip lock bag. Put in the frig for 2 hours to marinate in the flavor. Heat 1/2 oil in frying pan to 375 degrees. Take out marinating rings and let excess hot sauce drip off. Dredge in flour until well coated. Put in hot oil and fry until golden brown, flip over and brown other side. Serve on burgers or as a side, with ranch dressing or salsa.
