Ricotta Dove

In Italy, a traditional Easter cake is “la Colomba” (the Dove) and it's very difficult to prepare. Here you have our easier verision using ricotta cheese. Show more

  1. Beat eggs with sugar. Melt butter and add it with all the other ingredients.
  2. Finally add yeast sifted. (sometimes instead of chocolate we use raisin put in orang juice 1 hour before.) To frost, grind 45 gr almonds, add 150 sugar and then add 1 egg white until you obtain a cream.
