Directions

  1. Mix ricotta, eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
  2. Slowly incorporate flour.
  3. Pick up small portion of dough and form to make doughnut.
  4. Fry until golden brown (we usually use crisco for this-- use only a fairly neutral tasting oil-not olive oil).
  5. Drain and dust with powdered sugar.
