Rich Scalloped Corn

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 3⁄4 cup half-and-half
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 3 pieces whole wheat bread, chopped
- 4 teaspoons butter, melted
Directions
- Combine corn, half and half, cheese, eggs, onion and a dash of pepper in a 1 quart ungreased casserole dish.
- Toss bread and butter together, spread over top. Sprinkle with a bit more cheese if desired.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F or until set in center.
