- Sift flour and sugar together.
- Add egg and beat thoroughly.
- Add rhubarb.
- Pour in crust.
- Add top crust.
- Make a slit on top.
- Bake in very hot oven (425 degrees) for 10 minutes then reduce temperature to moderate 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer.
