Revised Cheesesteak

Yields: 4 lettuce cheesesteaks
Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chili powder (can adjust to taste or preference)
- 1 tablespoon turmeric (can adjust to taste or preference)
- 1 lb turkey breast, thinly sliced (get the real turkey, not the fake stuff from the deli)
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 head lettuce
Directions
- Cook onion and green pepper in olive oil until slightly brown (onions) or tender (peppers). To your preference.
- Dice tomatoes.
- Then add diced tomatoes with chili powder and turmeric.
- Add meat to the same pan or separate pan.
- Lay out 4 large pieces of lettuce to use as bun.
- Add swiss cheese to the mixture.
- Layer the mixture of meat, peppers and sauce on lettuce leaf.
- Roll-up and enjoy!
