Restaurant Butter

This makes 2 pounds of light and fluffy butter just like you get at restaurants.

Yields: 64 tablespoons

Ingredients

  • 1  cup buttermilk
  • 1  lb margarine, not whipped
  • 1  cup  flavored oil (I like garlic oil)

Directions

  1. Place margarine in a large mixing bowl and let stand until at room temperature.
  2. Add buttermilk and oil.
  3. Beat until light and fluffy with an electric mixer.
  4. Place in a plastic bowl with a cover and refrigerate.
