Red Kidney Beans Burger

Simple, quick and very easy burger.

  1. Put the Kidney Beans in a food processor and pulse them until they look roughly chopped.
  2. Add the diced onion and pulse again.
  3. Add the oats, pepper and salt and pulse again or low setting.
  4. Add the eggs and process until the mixture looks a bit like a rough paste.
  5. Divide the mixture into 12 and roll in the four making sure that they are properly covered.
  6. Dust off the excess flour and form into patties.
  7. Heat oil in frying pan make sure that the oil is hot and cook the patties in batches 2 to 3 minutes on each side until brown.
  8. Place on kitchen paper towels to take off excess oil.
