Red Coleslaw

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 3⁄4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon louisiana style hot sauce
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 8 cups shredded green cabbage (1 medium head)
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl,combine the vinegar,sugar and brown sugar. Stir until sugars are dissolved. Add the ketchup,hot sauce,pepper and salt. Mix until smooth. Toss the cabbage and mix until cabbage is evenly coated with sauce.Cover or transfer to a lidded container and refrigerate at least a few hours or overnight before serving.
