Red Beans and Rice for Dummies!

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups wild rice
- 3 cups water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 1⁄2 lbs kielbasa
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans
- 1.5 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 3⁄4 teaspoon oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Bring the water to a boil. Add the rice and bullion cube and allow to simmer until liquid is completely absorbed, about 20 minutes.
- Slice sausage and cook in a skillet over medium-low heat. Stir in onion powder, bell pepper and garlic. Saute until the pepper is tender. Add the beans, tomato and spices. Simmer 20 minutes. Serve over the prepared rice.
