Ingredients
- 3 (15 1/2ounce) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14 1/2ounce) can cajun stewed tomatoes
- 2 cups diced fully cooked ham
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 dashes hot sauce
Directions
- In a large Dutch oven, bring all ingredients to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
