Real Mexican Queso Blanco

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup asadero cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces jalapenos, chopped, -drained
- 1⁄4 cup half-and-half cream
- 2 teaspoons cumin, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Heat oil in a sauce pan and add onions.
- Cook until onions are translucent.
- Warm the cream in a sauce pan over low heat.
- Stir in the grated/shredded cheese and begin stirring.
- As the cheese melts add your peppers and seasonings.
- Keep stirring until all the cheese is melted and creamy.
