Raw Spiced Applesauce

Ingredients
- 4 apples, washed well, unpeeled, cored and cut into chunks
- 1⁄2 teaspoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cardamom
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1⁄4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1⁄4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Directions
- Combine apples, zest, juice, cardamom, cinnamon and salt in a food processor.
- Whirl on PULSE to desired consistency, scraping down the sides as necessary. Note: I preferred the applesauce in small pieces as opposed to a smooth sauce. You will definitely need more than 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice. I had to add at least one half cup more liquid-diluted orange juice with filtered water, to attain the consistency I wanted. You'll have to drain the applesauce, too.
- Top each serving with a dollop of yogurt and garnish with the toasted pecans.
