Raspberry Cream filled Chocolate Wafers

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons whipping cream
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
Creamy Filling
- 1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons raspberry flavored syrup or 1 1⁄2 teaspoons strawberry flavored syrup
Directions
- In large mixing bowl,combine flour,1/2 c butter,sugar& whipping cream.
- Beat mixture at low speed,until well mixed (1-2 minutes) scrape bowl often.
- Add the melted chocolate& beat until well mixed.
- Divide the dough in half;wrapping in plastic wrap.
- Chill until firm (1-2 hours).
- Heat oven to 400.
- Grease a cookie sheet.
- Roll dough on well-floured surface a half at a time (chill remaining dough).
- Roll it to 1/4-inch thickness,then cut with 1 1/2-inch round/square cookie cutter.
- Dunk each side cookies in sugar.
- Space cookies 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets.
- With a fork,prick several times,each cookie.
- Bake 6-8 minutes or until set.
- Let cookies stand for 2 minutes;& remove from sheets.
- Allow them to cool completely.
- In a small mixing bowl,combine powdered sugar,1/2 cup butter& flavored syrup.
- Beat at medium speed,until light& fluffy (4-5 minutes).
- Scrape bowl often.
- Carefully,pair cookie,by using i tsp of cream filling each cookie.
