Raspberry Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients

  • 1  cup flour
  • 1  cup  quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 13 cup butter
  • 34 cup light brown sugar
  • 34 cup  semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 10  ounces  car  seedless raspberry jam

Directions

  1. In medium bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  2. In large bowl, combine butter and sugar. Add flour mixture and beat until fluffy.
  3. Transfer 3/4 cup of the dough to a bowl. Toss with chocolate chips and set aside.
  4. Press remaining dough into 8" square pan. Spread evenly with jam.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chip mixture.
  6. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool. Cut into 9 squares.
