Raspberry Bars

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups seedless raspberry jam (*)
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and oatmeal.
- Cut in all but 2 Tablespoons butter.
- Press 1/2 of flour mixture evenly into a greased 13X9" pan.
- Spread jam over batter in pan, then top with remaining flour mixture.
- Dot with 2 Tablespoons butter and with chopped pecans.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool completely, then cut into triangles.
- *Variation: Use other types of jam such as strawberry, blueberry or apricot.
