Ramen Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 4  slices bacon, sliced crosswise into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1 (3 -4 ounce) package  chicken-flavored ramen noodles
  • 1 (15 ounce) can  creamed corn
  • 1  cup water
  • 1  cup milk
  • 1  tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Cook 2 rashers of bacon until crispy; set aside on paper towels to drain. (Reserve the 2 uncooked rashers for step 3.).
  2. Crush the ramen in the package until reduced to small pieces. Carefully open the package; remove and reserve the seasoning packet.
  3. Pour noodles into a saucepan, along with corn, water, milk, cooked and uncooked bacon. Add half the seasoning packet, bring to a simmer and cook until noodles are tender. Add butter. Stir well and serve.
