Raisin Sauce for Ham

Wonderful sauce to serve with your baked ham.

• Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

• 1  cup raisins
• 1 3⁄4 cups water
• 1⁄3 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 1⁄4 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄4 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1  tablespoon butter
• 1  tablespoon vinegar

Directions

1. Boil raisins and water 5 minutes.
2. Mix dry ingredients.
3. Add to raisin mixture.
4. Cook 15 minutes.
5. Stir in butter and vinegar.
