"Hjort" Swedish Deer Meatballs

Hjort is Swedish for deer. This is a very basic swedish meatball recipe using deer. Antelope can also be substituted. I use my meatballs in spaghetti, barbeque sauce, and wrapped in bacon. Show more

  1. mix meat, onion and egg.
  2. add soy sauce.
  3. add oats.
  4. add salt and pepper.
  5. form into balls. I used a large cookie scoop.
  6. Bake on foil for 30 min at 350 degrees.
