Quick Raw Apple Sundae

Ingredients

  • 2  apples
  • 2  tablespoons almond butter
  • 14 cup maple syrup
  • 1 12 teaspoons  almond extract
  • 2  tablespoons  sliced almonds
  • 2  tablespoons  desiccated coconut, grated

Directions

  1. Coarsely chop almonds and set aside for topping.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, blend the almond butter, maple syrup, and almond extract until smooth. It should be similar in consistency to a caramel sauce. (drool).
  3. Core the apples into quarters and dice them. Divide between two serving bowls.
  4. Drizzle the sauce over the two bowls of apples and top with almonds and coconut. Serve immediately.
