Ingredients

  • 1  cup milk
  • 6  ounces  semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1  egg
  • 2  tablespoons sugar
  • 1  teaspoon rum
  • 1  pinch salt

Directions

  1. Heat milk to boiling point.
  2. Place all other ingredients in an electric blender, and add hot milk.
  3. Blend at low speed one minute.
  4. Stir with a rubber spatula to remove bubbles.
  5. Pour into pot de creme cups and chill several hours before serving.
