Quick Pistachio Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 (17 1/2ounce) bag sugar cookie mix
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup butter flavor shortening
- 2 tablespoons instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1⁄4 cup minced candied cherry
- 1⁄2 cup pistachio nut
Directions
- Put dry cookie mix and dry pudding mix in a bowl, stir. Prepare cookies according to directions, adding egg and shortening as needed. Stir in nuts and cherries until incorporated. Spoon onto cookie sheets using rounded tablespoon measure.
- Bake in preheated 325 oven for 9 to 13 minutes or to desired doneness. Cool on a wire rack.
