Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon asian fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sour beer (optional)
Directions
- Cover the slices with half the salt and sugar and let them rest for 15 minutes. They'll leach out a little liquid, so I did this in a strainer.
- Place the cucumbers in a bowl with all of the other ingredients, and let them marinate for 15-30 minutes.
