Quick Pickle Salad

Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers
- 1⁄2 yellow onion
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup purified water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Directions
- Slice cucumbers thinly. Discard end pieces; place sliced cucumbers in large bowl with sealing lid.
- Slice onion thinly and add to bowl with cucumbers.
- Combine vinegar, water and sugar in large jar. Shake to combine. (This can be done in two batches if using a smaller jar.).
- Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers and onion. Put sealing lid on bowl, shake to combine. Refrigerate overnight or at least 12 hours.
