Quick Oat and Molasses Cookies

This is the basic recipe for the classic ooey-gooey molasses cookie. Can be revamped with your favourite ingredients (raisins, chocolate chips, nuts, etc.) Show more

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Add sugar to margarine and beat well.
  3. Add molasses and egg.
  4. Mix the flour with all the dry ingredients.
  5. Gradually incorporate into previous mix.
  6. Add oats and mix well.
  7. Roll into 1 inch balls.
  8. Place on a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
