  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl stir together the sugar, splenda, oil and egg. Stir in milk until blended.
  4. Add all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and stir until just combined. Fold in the nuts.
  5. Spoon batter into the loaf pan. Bake for one hour or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool the loaf for 15 minutes before serving.
  6. For easier slicing you can refrigerate the loaf once it is fully cooled before serving.
