Quick Chili

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 (24 ounce) can rotel diced tomatoes and green chili peppers
- 2 (12 ounce) cans bush's chili beans (mild)
- 1 large yellow onion (diced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 jalapeno (seeds removed, and diced)
- 1 teaspoon garlic (minced, or paste)
Directions
- *You will need one packet of Wick Fowlers 2 Alarm Chili Kit.
- 1. Spray 12 inch skillet with non-stick cooking spray and brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Do not drain fat, as it will render out.
- 2. Add diced onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, and garlic. Cook until onions and peppers are soft. Stir occasional to keep from sticking.
- 3. In large sauce pan, combine large can Rotel diced and tomatoes and green chili with chili beans and 2 Alarm chili kit over medium-high heat. Omit addition of masa and salt from 2 Alarm Chili Kit.
- 4. Add ground beef to sauce pan and thoroughly mix.
- 5. Reduce heat to low, and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Serve with crackers or corn bread.
