Quick Cheese Grits

Yields: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1⁄2 cup quaker oats quick-cooking grits
- 4 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 dash garlic powder (optional)
- paprika
- salt
Directions
- Boil water.
- Stir in grits and return to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Cook 4-5 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
- Add cheese and garlic powder.
- Cook 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted.
- Add salt.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
