Quick and Easy Frosting

Yields: 1 3/4 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons cold water
- 1 egg white
- 3⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Put sugar, water and egg white in the top of a double boiler. Cook over boiling water, stirring the ingredients constantly until frosting is the right consistency to spread. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. (Just the right amount for a dozen cupcakes).
- Try different flavorings and maybe colorings for interest.
