Quick and Decadent Brownies

Great for those nights when your child announces they need to take a treat to school the next day. Also well worth making for any time you need a chocolate fix. Use whatever types of chocolate chips you have on hand, but the recommended mix is particularly good. Variation: Substitute Kahlua for orange liqueur and strong coffee for orange juice. Ingredients

  • 21  ounces  brownie mix
  • 14 cup  vegetable oil
  • 14 cup  orange juice
  • 14 cup  orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier)
  • 1  egg
  • 34 cup  milk chocolate chips
  • 12 cup white chocolate chips
  • 12 cup  semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, egg, oil, juice and liqueur by hand until well mixed (25 strokes). Add chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  3. Spread in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes (do not overbake). Cool completely in pan.
  4. Cut into 36 bars.
