Quiche Lorraine

This is a recipe my dad taught me. It's delicious

Serves: 4-6

Yields: 1 pie

  1. Start by mixing the flour with a little of the half & half until you get the lumps out.
  2. Add the rest of the half & half, 3 eggs, 1 egg yolk, salt & pepper to the bowl & mix with a whisk.
  3. Place the bacon pieces, chives & cheese in the pie shell & then pour the egg mixture on top.
  4. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes.
  6. Then lower oven temperature to 350 degrees & bake for 20 minutes.
