Puppy Chow

I remember making this once in 3rd grade and now I make it everytime there are children around. It's a great snack and fun for Christmas cookie platters. So simple, but so delicious. Many people probably already know this snack as another name, but this is what we have always called it.

• Yields: 6 cups

Ingredients

• 6  cups  Crispix cereal
• 1⁄2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 12  ounces  semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 2  cups powdered sugar

Directions

1. Melt butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips together over medium heat.
2. Remove from stove and stir in cereal.
3. Put powdered sugar in a clean garbage bag, paper bag, or plastic grocery bag.
4. Add cereal to bag.
5. Shake until coated in powdered sugar.
6. Serve.
