Punch a La Koets

Yields: 7 cups
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 12 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice (1 1/2 cup)
- 1 medium banana, mashed (1/2 cup)
- 1⁄3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed (1/2 of 6-oz can)
- 1⁄3 cup frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (1/2 of 6-oz can)
- 2 cups ginger ale, chilled
Directions
- In small saucepan, heat water and sugar till sugar dissolves.
- Cool then combine with pineapple juice, banana and concentrates.
- Pour into freezer containers; cover and freeze.
- Remove from freezer about one hour before serving. Thaw to slush stage; turn into punch bowl.
- Slowly pour ginger ale down side of bowl.
- Decorate top of punch with thinly sliced fresh lemons, if desired.
