Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups canned pumpkin
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1⁄3 cup rice, cooked
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
- salt and black pepper
- white cheddar cheese
Directions
- Mix pumpkin with water.
- Bring to an almost boil.
- Add milk and transfer to double boiler.
- Reheat. Add other ingredients.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Ladle into bowls.
- Add cheese to the top.
