Pumpkin Praline Pie

Ingredients
Praline Layer
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 1⁄3 cup finely chopped pecans
Filling
- 2 eggs
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
- 2⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon clove
- 1⁄8 teaspoon mace
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup light cream
- whipping cream, for topping
Directions
- Praline Layer: Blend together brown sugar, butter and pecans.
- Press into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell.
- Filling: Beat eggs until frothy.
- Add remaining ingredients in order given.
- Pour over praline layer.
- Bake at 400° for 50 to 55 minutes or until tip of sharp knife comes out clean.
- Cool and serve with whipping cream on top.
