Pumpkin Macadamia Bars

  1. Combine flour, spices and baking soda in small bowl.
  2. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl until creamy.
  3. Beat in pumpkin, egg and vanilla into the butter and sugar mixture until blended; gradually beat in flour mixture.
  4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the white chips and the nuts.
  5. Spread into a greased 15 1/2x10 1/2 jelly roll pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 18-20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  8. While bars are cooling, place remaining white chips in heavy duty plastic bag.
  9. Microwave on high for 45 seconds; knead.
  10. Microwave at 10 second intervals, kneading until smooth.
  11. Cut tiny corner from bag; squeeze to drizzle over the bars.
