Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
- 1 (12 ounce) package milk chocolate chips (I use half this amount)
- 4 1⁄2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together and bake at 375 degrees for 13-14 minutes.
