Pumpkin Chocolate Brownies

I haven't tried these yet. I wanted to post the recipe here for safe keeping. They sound delicious. I'm sure they'd be a great addition to any holiday dessert table. I found this recipe at Meals.com. cooking time is baking time combined with cooling time. Show more

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F Coat 9-inch-square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine sugar, pumpkin, egg, egg whites and oil in large mixeing bowl.
  3. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until blended.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon, allspice, salt and nutmeg.
  5. Beat on low speed until batter is smooth.
  6. Stir in mini-chips.
  7. Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan for about 20 minutes on wire rack.
  10. Cut into 2-inch squares.
