Pumpkin Cheese Bread

Yields: 2 loaves pumpkin bread
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 2 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
- 3 1⁄2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Beat together butter, cream cheese and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time and mix well.
- Add pumpkin and mix.
- Add dry ingredients and blend well.
- Pour into two greased 9x5 loaf pans.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and place on cooling rack.
