Pumpkin Cake Squares

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ginger
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 1 2⁄3 cups sugar
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
frosting
- 6 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- For Cake Squares - mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
- In separate bowl - mix wet ingredients and blend well. Slowly add dry mix and mix until well blended.
- Pour into large sheet cake pan that is well greased and floured.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- For Frosting - Blend butter and sugar on medium speed, add cream cheese and vanilla and blend until smooth. Spread over cake after it has cooled and cut into squares.
