Ingredients
- 1 1⁄4 cups Splenda granular
- 2⁄3 cup shortening
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 2⁄3 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 3 1⁄3 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease two 9 in loaf pans.
- In a large bowl, combine Splenda and shortening.
- Stir in eggs, water and pumpkin puree.
- Add the remaining ingrediets.
- Bake for 70 to 80 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
