  1. drain and rinse beans.
  2. mix all ingredients except green onions, and light sour cream.
  3. bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.
  4. blend soup with imersion blender or in small batches in blender.
  5. divide into 4 servings, top each with light sour cream, and green onions.
