Pull Apart Bacon Bread

Yields: 1 loaf

Ingredients

  • 12  slices bacon, diced
  • 1  lb  loaf  frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 2  tablespoons  vegetable oil, divided
  • 1  cup  shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1  ounce  ranch dressing mix

Directions

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or until partially cooked; drain on paper towels.
  2. Roll out dough to 1/2 in thickness; brush with 1 T oil.
  3. Cut into 1 inch pieces; place in a large bowl.
  4. Add the bacon, cheese, dressing mix and remaining oil; toss to coat.
  5. Arrange pieces in a 9X5 oval on a greased baking sheet. layering as needed.
  6. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled.
  7. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 5-10 minutes longer until golden brown.
