Protein Squares

This came from Obesity Help. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping.

Ready In: 15 mins

Serves: 21-32

Yields: 21-32 squares

Ingredients

  • 8  ounces  neufchatel cheese or 8  ounces fat free cream cheese
  • 3  scoops  syntrax fuzzy navel  protein powder
  • 1  ounce sugar, free peach jello mix (1 box)
  • 1  cup  rolled unsweetened oats (optional)

Directions

  1. Warm the cheese in the microwave for 15 – 20 seconds. Mix the jello with the cheese and then mix the rest of the ingredients inches This mixture will be more “wet” than the peanut butter type protein balls. Press the mixture in the bottom of a shallow oblong Tupperware dish.
  2. Refrigerate for four or more hours (sets the jello), and then use a butter knife to divide and individually wrap the protein balls/squares. Will make from 21 to 32 squares.
  3. An alternative would be to have some unsweetened granola and role the sticky moist unset protein balls in the granola and then wrap individually. (This will increase the calories per ball).
