Prince of Wales Pudding

Ingredients
- 125 g granny smith apples, chopped
- 125 g fresh breadcrumbs
- 125 g butter
- 125 g currants
- 60 g candied citrus peel
- 150 g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 eggs
Directions
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Grease a pudding basin with butter put in the mixture.
- Seal with lid and steam for 2 hours. Serve with sweet wine sauce or custard.
