Pressure Cooker Chicken Stew

Nice cold weather stew. Lotsa flavors, but lotsa ingredients.  Uses conventional pressure cooker on the stove. Show more

  1. Dice chicken 1/2” cubes.
  2. put into bag with flour & salt shake.
  3. pressure cooker on medium high .
  4. add oil.
  5. Add onions.
  6. add garlic & powder spices.
  7. add chicken & flour.
  8. saute chicken till brown.
  9. add vinegars.
  10. add molasses.
  11. add vegetables.
  12. Let vinegar cook off a bit.
  13. add chicken stock.
  14. add bay leaves.
  15. put lid on pressure cooker.
  16. Raise to High.
  17. when steam begins, reduce heat to medium.
  18. cook 45 minutes.
  19. caution: if steam stops, TAKE OFF HEAT, let it cool naturally.
