Praline Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2⁄3 cup pecans, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
- Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, add chopped pecans,
- reduce heat and cook 5 minutes.
- Drain and set aside.
- Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a heavy saucepan.
- Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Stir in pecans.
- Serve warm over ice cream.
- Makes 1 cup sauce.
