  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, combine apples, sugar,.
  2. Combine apples, sugar, flour, apple pie spice and salt; toss lightly.
  3. Put one of the pie crusts in a pie pan, then spoon mixture into pastry lined pan. Dot with butter. Top with strips of excess crusts, seal and flute edges. Cut vents in several places.
  4. Bake 50-55 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool slightly while making the Praline topping.
