Pound Cake L'orange

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease bundt pan and set aside.
  3. In medium bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
  4. In mixing bowl combine sugar and butter and cream together.
  5. Add eggs one at a time.
  6. Stir in orange juice and zest.
  7. Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition.
  8. Pour into prepared pan.
  9. Bake about 50-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when poked.
  10. Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes and then turn out onto wire rack and allow to cool completely.
  11. For glaze, combine confectioner's sugar, orange juice and zest, and vanilla.
  12. Stir until smooth and then drizzle over cooled cake.
